Microneedling Facial

PRP (platelet rich plasma)/ Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) Microneedling Facial
PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy is a process by which your own blood is drawn, spun down to extract the platelet rich plasma (the portion which has concentrated growth factors and regenerative properties), and that PRP is then reinjected into the tissue to promote healing and a more youthful appearance. When combined with microneedling, results include all of the benefits listed above for the standard microneedling treatment; but with the added benefits of an extra boost of collagen, increased healing, and a more youthful glow.
At Essence Aesthetics, we use the SkinPen microneedling device, which is the ONLY FDA APPROVED microneedling device on the market. For all PRP treatments, the best results have been seen with 3 initial treatments, 4-6 weeks apart, followed by a once or twice yearly maintenance treatment.
MiraPeel Facial
As one of our favorite treatments, the MiraPeel has it all. Microdermabrasion is combined with microneedling to completely refresh the skin and promote natural collagen growth. Microinfusion then pushes medical grade serums into the base layer of the skin, speeding the skin’s natural recovery rate. The service is then finished with LED light therapy and a rejuvenating face mask. This combination of procedures leaves the skin with a more even tone, fewer fine lines, and an overall glow.
PRP for Hair Rejuvenation
Using the above process of extracting PRP, the PRP is injected into the scalp for thinning hair. In a study conducted by NCBI, “hair count increased from an average number of 71 hair follicular units to 93 hair follicular units” after PRP treatment.

PDO Thread Lift
PDO thread lifting is a process that lifts and tightens sagging skin. Threads made of Polydioxanone are used during this process to improve the appearing of the sagging tissue.

Botox
Botox is a neuromodulator used to temporarily relax muscles, resulting in a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles.
Botox may also help with headaches, teeth grinding, “gummy smile”, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and may be used to correct asymmetry of the face. Results typically last 3-4 months, often longer in clients who receive Botox on a regular basis.
Filler
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule that holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water, creating a fuller, plumper look to where it is injected. Dermal fillers may be used in various areas of the face to bring a more youthful appearance and counteract the natural fat loss that we experience as we age.
Common areas treated include the lips, cheeks, jaw line, and chin. Depending on the product used, results typically last anywhere from 4 months to 18 months.
Aqua Gold Facial
Botox, hyaluronic acid filler, vitamin C, glutathione, peptides, and growth factors are all injected into the top layer of the skin. The results mimic an airbrush finish. Fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed out with the Botox and hyaluronic acid, while the added ingredients revitalize the skin and boost cell recovery.
